The 90 degrees elbows is the most common among elbows. There are different types such as the 90 Degree Short Radius Elbow. The 90 degree 3d elbows has a 90 degree angle and a radius 3 times that of the pipe diameter. This helps the fluids or gases to gradually excerpt pressure on the walls rather than suddenly.

The function of a 90 Degree Long Radius Elbow is same as 90 degree long and short elbow, but the measurement and dimensions is different to that of a 90 degree long and the short elbow. There are low pressure and high pressure elbows with different variations such as the Schedule 10 short radius elbow. The short radius and long radius of the elbow could be marked as SS or LS respectively. The 90 degree elbow is used in Furnesses or other heating or cooling applications.
